Now she’s on the team at Zipongo, where she’s excited to help bring wellness solutions to companies across the country.
1. Tell us why you joined Zipongo.
Eating healthy and working out have become a big part of my life. I’ve experienced weight issues in the past, which made me understand how it can affect one’s health and well-being. I knew I had to do something about it, and I did, with the right diet and lifestyle.
I wanted to work for a company that has a mission I was passionate about and believed in. Zipongo’s slogan, “Eating well made simple” caught my eye. Zipongo has it all, from personalized food recommendations to creative recipes. I want to help people make smart decisions about healthy eating, and I’m excited to join Zipongo on its journey.
2. What are you most proud of, personal or career-wise?
I’m always challenging myself to learn more and gain new experiences. There are a variety of things I’m proud of. I’ve: graduated from college, gotten my black belt in karate, had my own radio show, interned for CBS, landed gigs in the modeling industry, ran a half marathon, and built a successful career in sales. I’m truly thankful to have had the opportunities to earn these accomplishments. They’ve taught me to be strong, driven and persistent.
3. What’s your favorite place to eat in San Francisco?
Bristol Farms is my favorite because they have a variety of foods with plenty of healthy options. I usually go for their grilled chicken paired with Brussels sprouts and a crisp salad.
4. Can you share something that ranks high on your bucket list?
Teaching English to children in Spain is at the top of my list. I love children and want to make a meaningful difference in their lives. Another (more adventurous) item on my bucket list is to go cliff jumping in Thailand.
