1. Tell us why you joined Zipongo.
In my personal experiences, I’ve seen the impact of disease and chronic illness on individuals and families from varied socioeconomic backgrounds. I believe good health choices can make a difference for a lifetime. Nutrition is a big part of the story, and where Zipongo has true potential to improve lives. Zipongo’s mission and products intersect with many of my interests, both professionally and personally. And the team is fantastic and clearly passionate about what they do. What could be better than learning from and working with a team that wants to do good in the world?
2. What are you most proud of (personal or career-wise)?
I’ve had the opportunity to travel, work and study in many parts of the world. I’m proud of my ability to immerse myself in a new culture and see it from a local perspective.
3. What’s your favorite restaurant in San Francisco?
There are so many incredible food spots in the city. One of my favorites is Ananda Fuara. If you go there, try their vegetarian “neatloaf” — you won’t regret it.
4. Can you share something that ranks high on your bucket list?
I’d love to visit the Serengeti during the mass migration. And I’d also love to play a full song on my acoustic guitar one day.
